Blurb:

Can another dance help them forget the pain of the past?

Eden and Janine were best friends throughout their childhood and early teenage years. Then something happened that shattered their friendship, leaving Eden devastated and confused. Ever since her efforts to sort things out with Janine failed miserably, Eden has avoided her ex-best friend. Unfortunately, she can’t avoid her forever, since Eden’s sister is marrying Janine’s brother.
Thrown together in the same room for the first time in years, can the two women finally put their issues behind them and move on? Or is their shattered friendship beyond repair?
Please note: This story has been previously published in an anthology.

Excerpt:

Eden had been dreading this day since the moment her sister, Carol, had announced she was getting married. A wedding was supposed to be a happy occasion, a cause for celebration. But not when your sister was marrying the brother of your ex-best friend.
Eden had done a successful job of avoiding said ex-best friend for ten years, crying off any get-togethers, school reunions, and even her sister’s engagement and hen parties. Understandably, it had made her incredibly unpopular with Carol and their parents, but she’d had to put up with their displeasure for the sake of her own sanity.
Today, though, Janine or no Janine, Eden was going to her sister’s wedding. It was kind of crucial, really, given she was chief bridesmaid. She was just thankful that Janine hadn’t been asked to be a bridesmaid. That would have been problematic.
“I honestly don’t understand what happened between the two of you. What made you fall out so badly that you still want to avoid her?” Carol was asking, as the hairdresser put the finishing touches to her up-do, then settled her tiara on top of it, leaving the attached veil trailing down her back.
Well you wouldn’t, would you? Eden thought, trying hard not to let her emotions show on her face. You’ve never been confused about your sexuality and come on to your best friend, have you? But she kept quiet, determined not to ruin her sister’s special day.
“Can you even remember what happened?” Carol continued, thanking the hairdresser and standing up. She moved over to the full-length mirror in the room and examined herself from every angle. The hairdresser held up another mirror so the bride could see the back of her hair. She nodded.
“Yes,” Eden replied shortly, then added, “You look beautiful, sis. Really gorgeous.”
Inside her head, though, she was already reliving that fateful night.

WATCHING HER - OUT NOW!

A sexy and suspensful thriller written by myself and Natalie Dae.

Cover art by Studioenp.

What wouldn't I do?

Indulged and spoiled, fed everything I'd ever craved on a silver spoon, I still was lacking. A need for more had grown in the hot house I'd been raised in. It was a thirst I couldn't quench, a hunger that wouldn't be satisfied.

Until he came along. Hardly a knight in shining armour, he left me greedier than ever before. Travelling the globe, sashaying my hips and showing off my wares as I went, I never could have guessed the danger that was stalking me. Or who was stalking me.

Until the only thing that had ever mattered to me was threatened, and then I had to sit up and smell the roses. Torn between a ghost and a man who was strangely immune to my charms, I found myself on the run.

Trouble was, I was galloping into the danger and not away from it. I had to--instinct had taken over. She was all that mattered. I couldn't fail. I had to face my demons and hope the guardians who'd been sent to protect me were up to the job.

Special Guest - Doris O'Conner

Thank you so much for having me on your blog today, Lily, with my new release Her Best Friend’s Husband. Like so many of my stories the idea for this one was first sparked by a picture and the resulting tease on my blog.

The picture was a naked guy in bed, holding a wedding cake. How did I arrive from that to this story? Well, my muse works in mysterious ways, lol. The story slowly evolved and it was stuck in limbo for a long time, until I got the urge one day to pick up that manuscript, and the rest is history, as they say. J

I had such fun writing these three, and the intricacies of their relationship as they try to work out whether three is indeed better than two. So much so, in fact, that I’m planning a follow up to their story in due course.

For now, enjoy seeing Naomi struggle with her feelings for her best friend and his husband. To quote her. “Who does that?”

Naomi, for sure, and when she realizes the guys feel the same way…. Well… you might need a fan or a glass of water when you’re reading some scenes.

Your best friend’s wedding is not the time to realize how much you love him...

Wedding organizer Naomi Young is not only head-over-heels in love with her best friend, she lusts after his husband.

Which is all kinds of wrong—isn’t it? Maybe not. Especially when she discovers the attraction is not as one-sided as she thought.

Dom Dawson Monroe has never had a problem going after what he wants. Both he and his new husband Josh Garrison enjoy a woman’s soft touch, so who better to satisfy that need than the one woman Josh is madly in love with? Time to claim them both as his submissives.

Convention be damned. Happiness is to be found in the soft curves of Naomi’s body, as long as they can convince her that this is forever. Only time will tell if the loving twosome can become an even more loving threesome.

Be Warned: BDSM, m/m sex, menage sex (MMF), double penetration

Excerpt:

“Perhaps the boy’s timing was unfortunate, but he would only owe you an apology if you hadn’t enjoyed that kiss. And we all know you did. I’d wager you’re getting wet just remembering those kisses. I know I got hard witnessing it. You two look hot together.”

Naomi gasped and opened her mouth as though to protest, but one knowing smirk from Dawson meant she simply shook her head.

“Nothing to say to that, little one?”

That question, delivered in that deep, dark, gravelly voice—his Dom voice, as Josh called it—appeared to have the same effect on Naomi, as it always did on him. Her breathing sped up, and she tensed. While he couldn’t see them from his position in his back seat, Josh bet his next orgasm that her nipples were hard little beacons signaling her arousal as clearly as the moan she swallowed. It made him wish this infernal journey was over already. He couldn’t wait to see his life-long friend squirm in pleasure under his and Dawson’s hands.

His Master’s gaze dropped down to Naomi’s cleavage and Dawson’s grin turned positively sinful.

“Never mind words, your body gives you away. If I touched you now, I’d find you sopping wet for us, wouldn’t I? In fact…”

Dawson reached across and placed his large hand on Naomi's knee. She jumped but didn't stop him as he proceeded to pull up the hem of her dress, exposing acres of dark skin. The contrast of Dawson's much lighter hand on Naomi's thighs was startling. Josh groaned, and Naomi crunched the gear again as the traffic started moving.

"Please, I … don't." She flung an imploring look at Master and gasped when his hand briefly disappeared between her ample thighs. Josh balled his hands into fists to stop himself from grasping his dick, because seeing Master's hand reappear seconds later, his digits glistening with the unmistakable evidence of Naomi's arousal … fuck, that was hot.

Dawson grinned, licked one digit, and then held his hand out for Josh.

“Here, have a taste.”

His amber eyes darkened when Josh grasped Master’s hand. Naomi’s sweet, addictive taste exploded on his taste buds, made ten times more potent because it was mixed in with the familiar scent of the man he loved to distraction. Josh’s balls drew up in response, and he grunted as his dick jerked inside his pants.

“No coming without my say-so, boy. Besides, you make a mess in our girl’s car you’ll be cleaning it up.”

“Oh my God, you two are too much. I’m sitting right here, you know. Are either one of you going to actually ask me what I think?”

Naomi’s voice had risen to a shrill screech in her agitation. It served as an ice-cold dampener to Josh’s arousal, and he hastily released Dawson’s hand.

“Of course, we do.” He threw an imploring glance at his husband, and Dawson gave a sharp nod. Relief flooded through Josh, at that non-verbal confirmation that his Master was more than willing to step in.

“None of this will work without your consent, and communication is vital. I just don’t appreciate you lying to yourself, or us, girl,” Dawson said.

Naomi tensed further, and Josh could almost see the steam coming out of her ears. Any minute now she would explode in anger.

“Look, Naomi, what Dawson is trying to say—”

"Spare me, Josh." Naomi glared at him through the rearview mirror, and in a move that wouldn't have been amiss in a Bond movie, she pulled into the fast lane and put her foot down, as the traffic cleared. Dawson's hand braced on the dashboard again, and when he looked all set to say something, Josh put his hand on his Master's shoulder. Dawson glanced back at him, and his brows drew together in a frown at Josh's shake of the head. He heeded his request, however, and didn't say anything, as Naomi broke every speed limit in the land in her haste to seemingly get away from them all.

An awkward silence fell between them all, only broken by Naomi's soft curses when she had to slow down for the inevitable traffic, interspersed by Dawson's sighs.

Oh, Master was pissed and getting more annoyed by the minute. One of Dawson’s unbreakable rules was the need for his submissives to stay safe. Unwittingly Naomi was breaking that rule, and Josh knew he had to say something to calm this situation down.

“Slow down, sweet cheeks. Getting us killed will not get us there any faster. I’m sorry okay.”

Naomi gasped and glanced at him through the mirror. The sheen of tears in her eyes was like a punch to the gut, and he put his hand on her shoulder. He took the fact that she didn't immediately shrug him off as a good sign. "I'm sorry I sprung this on you, but I'm not sorry I kissed you. I'm not sorry this is out in the open. We should have probably had this conversation before I got married, but there never seemed a right time, and I'm a fucking coward, okay? I was too afraid to lose our friendship, but we could be so good together. All of us."

Thank you for having me at your blog today, Lily!

I’m excited to share my latest release with you, Alpha’s Alpha (Moon Point 2). This story is a standalone of a brand new series which revolves around the shifter bar, Moon Point. If you’ve read Evernight Publishing’s Owned by the Alpha anthology, you’ll find the first story in the series there.
Most of the time when I’m writing I have some background music playing and that usually influences my writing in one way or another. Alpha’s Alpha wasn’t any different.
Spotify open, headphones on and hands on the keyboard I set to work. From the first moment, Lee’s and Alkaline’s story was mainly shaped around Maroon 5’s music, albeit with a few exceptions. Below is a short list of some of the songs which influenced the story and a little side note so you can see what part they touched the most.
I hope you enjoy it!

1.     Animals by Maroon 5 ~ Lee and Alkaline met and kissed for the first time when this song was playing in the background.

2.     Cold by Maroon 5 ~ When the men decided to walk away from each other, this is the song I kept replaying.

3.     It was always you by Maroon 5 ~ In what part of the story do you think I played this song?

4.     Dani California by Red hot Chili Peppers ~ This song is Moon Point’s unofficial anthem. Its drunken patrons love singing to it. It’s a fun song.

5.     Lost by Icon and the Black Roses ~ At certain moments of the story both characters felt, well, lost. It’s an emotional song.

How important is music for you? Do you like to listen to something while reading? Let me know in the comments!

Excerpt

The beat of the music made the floor vibrate. The strobe lights flashed, creating a maddening effect. Lee lifted his arms toward the ceiling, and swayed his hips. He mouthed the words to the popular song, allowing the rhythm to wash over him and obliterate any thoughts and worries he still carried from the long day at work.
The animal within him stirred. Tossing and turning, it gathered energy from the pulsing tones and climbed to the surface as if awakening from a long sleep. Lee’s blood pumped faster. His vision refocused, throwing everything into sharp contrast, from the shimmering contents of beverages in clear glasses, to the glittery eye makeup of a random stranger. The club smelled like sweat and alcohol. Bodies pressed together, swaying, moving. Glass shattered somewhere followed by a chorus of “Oh!” and loud laughter. All around, people enjoyed a night out, oblivious to anything more than what lay a few feet from them. Unaware of the hunter in their midst.
Lee licked his lips. His cock twitched. It’d been too long since he’d prowled the night for a bed companion. Focused on his work as manager of the shifter bar Moon Point, sometimes he forgot to have fun, to give into his baser instincts. Normally, he’d go home, relieve himself, and fall asleep until the next day. But he was a puma, a night prowler. And tonight, after he’d closed Moon Point, he knew driving to the countryside and going for a run wouldn’t be enough. He was restless, yearning for something more which he could only describe as the need for company, for the feel of skin against skin, for the gentle caress of caring hands, if only for a few hours.
It was time to hunt.
Lee glanced around and caught the eye of a handsome stud with dark, puppy eyes. He grinned. The stranger looked away, then back at him, a small smile playing on his lips.
Game on.
Swerving his hips, Lee started to make his way toward the man and stopped. The hint of a welcoming scent caressed his senses. A desert breeze mingled with rare wildflowers. A spark lit up his core, sending a shiver of excitement through him. The top of his ears tingled. Lee spun. His heart froze, then resurged, pounding frantically.
Alkaline.
He’d never been formally introduced to the lion shifter, but he knew him on sight. He had to. One didn’t manage a bar in one of the seediest neighborhoods of the city without knowing the local gangs. Besides, Alkaline wasn’t exactly easy to miss. At six-foot-five, with shoulder-length red-blond hair, a matching beard, and slightly tanned skin, he stood out wherever he went.
Lee watched him move. His cock twitched. There was nothing submissive about the male specimen coming in his direction, parting the crowd like some kind of god. Alkaline exuded power, force, and unbridled passion.
Their gazes locked and desire rushed through him. Hell, yes. This was just what he needed. A real challenge. Lee extended his hand and Alkaline took it. The lion pulled him close with a firm tug. Hand on his waist, Alkaline guided him to the music.
Lee sucked in his cheeks to keep from laughing. Hell would freeze over before he was the one following. He pushed back, forcing Alkaline to release him. Then, rolling forward, he placed his hands on Alkaline’s hips and took the lead.
The lion snarled. His amber eyes flashed a warning. Lee didn’t retreat. His cock thickened inside his jeans, rubbing against the material. Abruptly, Alkaline dipped him slightly backwards, threaded his fingers in his hair and held, forcing Lee to stare at him.
His puma growled. Bursting through his defenses, it forced his vision to change. It turned sharper, more attuned to the man in front of him, from the tiny wrinkles in the corner of his eyes, to the small mole above his brow, to the thin coat of sweat which made his face glisten.
Alkaline glared at him. Lee’s blood pressure spiked along with his raging libido. He wouldn’t be the first to drop his gaze. He pursed his mouth. The music changed and someone slammed into them, breaking the connection.
They both moved at the same time. Lips clashed. Hungry. Hard. Lee’s fingers threaded into Alkaline’s long reddish mane and Alkaline rested his hand on the nape of Lee’s neck, bringing him closer. Their tongues entwined, desperately seeking for more, until the air ran out of their lungs and they broke apart panting. For a second, they gauged each other, and Lee wondered if he looked as bewildered and as consumed by lust as the other man.
Just when he was about to speak, Alkaline grabbed his hand and placed it over his erection. Lee groaned.
“I need to have you, now,” Alkaline said.
